Tanners Point

Just north of Katikati on the southern edge of Shelly Bay is the small seaside community of Tanners Point popular for its deep water all-tide boat ramp. In 2016 Shane Walker (Shane Walker Artworks) used his artistic skills to bring the seaside view inland a little and brighten up what was a rather dull grey toilet block. We think he has done a great job capturing the essence of the area and the local bird life found by the shore.

Another excellent mural from BOON Hamilton Street Art painted by Techs in 2015.
