The Avondale Art Park is an initiative to bring art into the public spaces in the Avondale community. It provides a space for local and international artists to showcase their Graffiti writing as a legitimate artform, to provide aspiring graffiti artists a forum to go beyond tagging and vandalism.
In the heart of Avondale on the site of a former 3 Guys supermarket the Avondale Art Park has proven to be a destination for a wealth of street artists from New Zealands most recognised to some well known international stars.
