Sean Duffell

Wellington based Sean Duffell is a prolific street artist, creator of abstract murals often based on native flora and fauna. His artwork can be found in most large cities around New Zealand covering walls and roller doors. A full time artist since 2003, Sean was inspired by the visuals surrounding the skateboarding culture of his youth. His outdoor murals exhibit a vibrancy of colour along with a symmetry of design and challenge the viewer to look deeper into the imagery to discover the inspiration behind each piece. Sean's talent and creative design has seen him travel overseas to several countries to add to the street culture. From Colombia to Brazil his artwork includes imagery that blends with the local environment.
