Reuban Paterson

Born in Auckland in 1973 of Maori and Scottish descent Reuben is considered a dynamic young artist best known for his work with glitter and diamond dust with which he has been creating artworks for over 15 years. Reuben studied at the Elam School of Fine Arts where he graduated in 1997 but furthered his studies with a post graduate diploma in teaching in 2000. He has exhibited his works, both painting and sculpture, in solo and group exhibitions continuously throughout his career with multiple exhibitions yearly from 2000 onwards, with major exhibitions in Praque and New York. Reuben has also spent time as artist in residence in several countries including France, Greece, Korea and the United States of America.
