MiN (Melinda Butt)

Melinda Butt (MiN) is a passionate artist who uses an architectural approach to outdoor art to transform overlooked spaces and structures into cheerful experiences for passersby. Melinda has worked in the visual arts industry for over 20 years and in that time has participated in a large number of both group and solo art exhibitions. For her outdoor murals Melinda uses colour palettes that mirror the surrounding environment enabling her artworks to enhance the viewers outlook while at the same time attracting the eye to the bold lines and shapes that create elements of contrast and reflection. Melinda's work can be found on the streets of Auckland from Newmarket to Henderson and more recently around Whangarei where she has completeed a number of commissions as well as participated in the Street Prints Manaia street art festival.
