The Armanasco homestead, a four roomed colonial cottage, was originally located on Blockhouse Bay Rd but was gifted to the Blockhouse Bay Community and moved to its current location at the Village Green in 1990. The historic homestead was refurbished with volunteer labour and funding from the Portage Licencing Trust and the Avondale Community Board."
