Colleen Ryan-Priest

Colleen studied at Canterbury University receiving her Diploma in Fine Arts in 1973 and went on to study for a Post Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University, in 2006 she became a fellow of New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architecture. Colleen is an artist who uses glass as her preferred medium and is a proponent of the ancient technique of the lost wax method of glass casting. Her achievements including having her works selected for major national exhibitions throughout both New Zealand and Australia and she was awarded the Glass Prize at the New Zealand Glass Artist Conference in 2011.
