Chris Booth

Born in Kerikeri Chris Booth began his art career as an art teacher at Northland College in Kaikohe before taking up formal studies at University of Canterbury's Ilam School of Fine Arts. Booth is known for his large scale land art where he uses natural materials of stone and wood, supported by steel, to form sculptural works that co-exist with the surrounding environment. He has been involved in many project throughout Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, his works can be found in many countries such as Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom , France and Italy.
