Charlotte Fisher
In her outdoor works Charlotte Fisher makes use of natural materials with naturally occurring colours and tones often using recycled wood or jetsam gathered from the coastline. Boat shapes are a recurring theme for Charlotte as with Arc sculpture designed for the Auckland Millennium project, the artwork seen as a vessel with upright figures. Charlotte studied at the Elam School of Fine Arts receiving a BA in Art History and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture, she has participated in solo and group exhibitions since 2003 and completed a number of public commissions in Auckland and Wellington and her home town of Whangarei.
