Brett Graham
Dr Brett Graham is widely regarded as one of New Zealand's most accomplished sculptors. His outdoor works use mostly wood and stone and while their titles reflect a grounding in Maori concepts their form often lean toward a combination of Maori and European historical traditions. After completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Auckland Brett choose to continue his studies at the University of Hawaii culminating in a Masters of Fine Art in 1991. His first solo exhibition was arranged the same year and has been followed up with many more, these along with a healthy portfolio of public works has kept Brett in the public spotlight only pausing to complete his Doctorate of Fine Arts in 2005.
